The Volkswagen Atlas is a mid-size crossover SUV manufactured by the German automaker Volkswagen since 2017. Developed mainly for the North American and Chinese market, the vehicle is based on the Volkswagen Group MQB platform. Outside the US, Canadian, and Chilean markets, the vehicle is marketed as the Volkswagen Teramont. It is positioned above the long-wheelbase Tiguan and below the smaller but more upmarket Touareg.

Marketed as the Atlas in North America, Chile, and Israel, the vehicle is known as the Teramont elsewhere, including the rest of the Middle East Africa, as well as in Mexico, Russia, Colombia and China, where production in Ningbo began in 2017. For markets outside China, the Atlas/Teramont is produced in the Chattanooga plant in Chattanooga, Tennessee, United States.

The vehicle features a transverse mounted four-cylinder or Volkswagen's VR6 engine. Up to the introduction of the China-only Viloran, the Atlas was the largest vehicle produced on the Volkswagen Group MQB platform.

The new Touron adopts paddle-type digital shifting, which is convenient in appearance, and is surrounded by chrome decoration with brushed aluminum patterns, doubling the leisurely driving experience; while the 12-inch intelligent multimedia interactive system (with intelligent navigation) and head-up display system create a comprehensive Azimuth Digital Vision, the new Touron 2023 is equipped with a new generation of MOS 3.2 smart car connectivity system, and a new Volkswagen IQ smart driving system. The entire series has a new pre-ventilation function and a three-zone automatic air conditioning system with Clean Air Gen3 PM2.5 air purification device.

The transverse illuminated front grille & LOGO are set off by the IQ.Light full LED matrix headlights on both sides. The through full LED smart taillights and illuminated LOGO are also equipped with 21-inch hard-core aluminum alloy wheels.  The new Touron 2023 model has added a new distant mountain green car color. The unique cyan color seems to come into view from the distant mountains. It not only fits the wide body of the new Touron, but also adds a lot of color to it.

In terms of platform, Touron will be based on the Volkswagen MQB platform. In terms of power, the 2023 Touron offers 2.0T high and low power versions and 2.5T V6 engines to choose from. The 2.0T low power version has a maximum power of 137kW, the 2.0T high power version has a maximum power of 162kW, and the 2.5T V6 version has a maximum power of 220kW. The transmission system is matched with a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox, and two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive models are available.

The P -series street version of the brake kit is suitable for daily street use. The braking foot feels comfortable and linear. It has superior braking and high temperature resistance. It uses external dust cover design to make the calipers not need to be maintained, and the use of caliper is longer.
