Dubbed ATS-L, the model is exclusive to China, a market that's overwhelmed by long-wheelbase sedans. Not to be left out in a segment that already includes longer versions of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class and the Audi A4, Cadillac is joining in with a model set to satisfy China's need for luxury and added legroom.

Visually, the Cadillac ATS-L is the same, mildly facelifted 2015 ATS we can buy in the United States, except for the longer wheelbase and elongated rear doors. Stretched by nearly 3.4 inches, the wheelbase measures 112.6 inches and increases the car's overall length from 182.4 inches to 186.2 inches. The sedan is also 0.7 inches wider than the standard ATS.

Other noticeable changes include a slightly different Cadillac emblem on the front grille, reminiscent of the wreath crest that got dropped last year, ATS-L badging around back and new, 18-inch, twin-five-spoke alloy wheels.

The ATS-L is available with two of the three engines offered on the U.S.-spec ATS. First up is the turbocharged, 2.0-liter, four-cylinder unit that cranks out 272 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. Updated for 2015, the mill delivers an extra 35 pound-feet of torque starting from 3,000 rpm and peaking at 5,500 rpm. The second engine is the familiar, naturally aspirated, 3.6-liter V-6 rated at 321 ponies and 274 pound-feet of twist.

The special aviation aluminum alloy forging process is integrated. The weight of a single caliper is only 3kg. The hollow design can effectively reduce the quality of the lower spring and greatly improve the stability of the vehicle.Strong brake power and good heat dissipation effects. People are more confident when driving at high speeds.
